I draw and write to express myself. Often that is fetishistic, transgender, and beautiful. It would be easy to assume that the women in my art are objects for what I desire to do to them, but that is not the case. I desire to *be* these women. The object of my desire is to identify with them, and as I immerse myself so intimately into drawing or writing, I indeed find myself connecting to them. Every choice I make in my art is for that purpose. I become lost in my creations with orgasmic, hyper-focused intensity.
I ask you to view my art and writing from that perspective. Take the time to explore my art, like a Chinese landscape, discovering the secret temples In the mist. Take the time to identify with these women and to emotionally love them. This is not mere titillation. Seek. And through my art, where every choice is a reflection of my own beauty, find me.
Amaluen.
So, I did go to Bouguereau's page and immersed myself. The site is a really good introduction to the painter and covers about 50% of his oeuvre. Definitely an "Academic"-style artist with very strong Raphael influences. One can understand why his popularity waned significantly as a result first of the rise of Impressionism and second with the anti-religionist movements of surrealism and modernism after WWI. But still his style is quite delightful within those limits. His nudes are quite classic. (I confess, though, that after viewing his work I've had my fill of rotund little children and especially the "Madonna-and-child" type of portraits...maybe for the next year or two...or more.)
Again, many thanks for cueing me in on this artist and sending me off to take a look.
Lol… I’m not actually that fond of him, but ai picks up his realism and graceful composition (i.e. the tilt of my images head and her subtle smile).
Yes, looking at your composition I can see exactly those influences. Quite nice!
One good catch deserves another, I always say.
Many thanks.
